Introducing the Codex Tokenomics Litepaper
We’re thrilled to announce the release of the Codex Tokenomics Litepaper!
This foundational document outlines how the CDX testnet token will lay the groundwork for the token ecosystem that will power the future of decentralised storage. CDX is used as both a form of posted collateral and a means of payment to secure the network and access its services.
In this way, the tokenomics system incentivises file durability and repair, which are key components in maintaining the integrity of the Codex distributed storage network.

Run Codex Testnet Easily With Our New CLI
With the introduction of the Codex Storage command-line interface (CLI), it is easier than ever to run a Codex testnet node!
This powerful tool makes it simple to join the Codex testnet as an early adopter and play your part in creating the future of censorship-resistant, distributed data storage.
To help you get started, we have published a step-by-step tutorial that will walk you through installing and running a Codex testnet node using the Codex Storage CLI, as well as claiming the Altruistic Mode role in our Discord server.

The State of Decentralised Storage Report 2025
We recently published a report on the state of the decentralised storage space in 2024, where Codex Storage stands in the context of this sector, and what to expect as decentralised storage projects mature in 2025 and beyond.
